Author Biography

Ariadna Ortiz Brugués is a doctor and violinist. She graduated from Universidad de Sevilla, Spain, and Albert-Ludwigs Universität Freiburg, Germany, where she completed her PhD on Music Performance Anxiety. She also graduated from the Conservatory of Music Manuel Castillo and the Academia de Estudios Orquestales Barenboim-Said, both in Spain, under the instructions of Daniel Barenboim. She completed her studies at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary at Harvard University. She has published scientific articles about Music Performance Anxiety, among other medical issues, in prestigious international journals. She is a member of the World Doctors Orchestra, works as a doctor and teaches at the university level.
