Fabio Duca Gurgel do Amaral, siete veces campeón del mundo, comenzó a practicar el Jiu-Jitsu a los 13 años y recibió su cinturón negro a los 19. Junto con su maestro Romero Jacaré es el cofundador del Alliance Team, dos veces campeón mundial, con 40 academias en todo el mundo, de Venezuela a Nueva York y de Finlandia a Alemania. Ein Mann schlendert in Gedanken versunken an einem blauen Meer entlang. Das Meer grenzt an eine satte grüne Wiese, die sich über den gesamten Horizont streckt. Auf einer Parkbank, die unter einer dicken alten Eiche steht und von der aus er einen freien Blick auf das Wasser hat, nimmt er Platz. Suchend blickt er sich um. Eine ältere Dame mit einem wuscheligen Hund nähert sich und setzt sich zu ihm. Irritiert und verzweifelt fragt der Mann, wo er sei. Er habe keine Ahnung, wie er hierhergekommen sei. Alles hier sähe so ruhig, so schön und unwirklich aus. Die ältere Dame stellt sich als Maja(Mitte 70) vor und der Mann als Finn(Mitte 20). Sie sagt, dass sie so etwas schon öfter erlebt hat. Durch ihr Alter vergesse sie aber immer, wie der Ort hier genannt wird. Finn solle von seinem Leben, seinen Erinnerungen erzählen. So würde es ihm bestimmt wieder einfallen, wie er hierhergekommen sei und wie der Ort genannt werde. Historical is a journey through the lives of 15 women who made history, based on illustrations of them by Polish artist Joanna Styrylska-Gałażyn. These graphic representations are accompanied by texts of diverse literary genres, written especially for this edition by young writers of different nationalities: Chilean, Latin American, Catalan. For each character, a brief biography and a text is included that seeks to connect the reader to the woman being honored, mixing real information with fictitious events: some occur in the future, others explore the most intimate dimension of the protagonist or personify her through poetry. The illustrations and stories that make up this book seek to make visible the importance of women in the immense number of areas from which they have been systematically excluded: science, art, technology, sports, activism and academia, among others. In this way, the book concentrates different aspects of feminist struggles capable of transcending time and space.
