This great warrior had great power and never used it for aggressive campaigns and personal enrichment. When Ilya felt that he was getting old, he came to the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra, plunging into a lonely prayer not only for his homeland, but also for the souls of the enemies he has had to kill.
