Katharina Kippenbergs sehr persönliche Auswahl umfaßt neben bekannten Gedichten wie Der Panther oder Die Flamingos auch weniger Bekanntes. Der Band erfreute sich über Jahrzehnte großer Beliebtheit und wurde immer wieder neu aufgelegt.
