Bovine Tuberculosis
by Mark Chambers, Stephen Gordon, Francisco Olea-Popelka, Paul Barrow
This book is contemporary, topical and global in its approach, and provides an essential, comprehensive treatise on bovine tuberculosis and the bacterium that causes it, Mycobacterium bovis. Bovine tuberculosis remains a major cause of economic loss in cattle industries worldwide, exacerbated in some countries by the presence of a substantial wildlife reservoir. It is a major zoonosis, causing human infection through consumption of unpasteurised milk or by close contact with infected animals. Following a systematic approach, expert international authors cover epidemiology and the global situation; microbial virulence and pathogenesis; host responses to the pathogen; and diagnosis and control of the disease. Aimed at researchers and practising veterinarians, this book is essential for those needing comprehensive information on the pathogen and disease, and offers a summary of key information learned from human tuberculosis research. It will be useful to those studying the infection and for those responsible for controlling the disease.

Spectaculum 75
Sechs moderne Theaterstücke
by Antonin Artaud, Jörg Graser, Kai Hensel, Fritz Kater, Simona Sabato, Peter Turrini

Edited by Mahendra Rai, Clemens Posten.
There are physical and chemical methods of synthesis of nanomaterials. But due to the damage caused by these methods to the environment there is a pressing need of green nanotechnology, which is a clean and eco-friendly technology for the development of nanomaterials. The present book includes green synthesis of nanoparticles by algae, diatoms and plants. The mechanism behind the synthesis of nanoparticles will also be discussed. The book would be a valuable resource for students, researchers and teachers of biology, chemistry, chemical technology, nanotechnology, microbial technology and those who are interested in green nanotechnology.

Vehicles
Original Card Set
by Simona Krumova, Krum Krumov
One of the things you’ve probably noticed is typical of our educational boxes is the amount of information that is presented to children. This is one of the signature features of our sets. And that is because it is valuable for children, picking up an educational box in their hands, to learn as much as they are interested in learning and not to be limited by us, the adults. The Vehicles card set contains 72 unique, current for today’s world or those from the past vehicles for the child to get acquainted with. The cards are suitable for children from 3 to 12 years. With the modern and clean illustrations and the great texts on the back, the maps become an interactive tool in the hands of teachers and parents. The cards can give the child the opportunity to practice reading (the texts are short enough and very interesting), to train their cognitive skills, following the legend, to discuss different characteristics of different vehicles and to have a lot, a lot of fun.

Europe: Countries and Flags
Original card set
by Simona Krumova, Krum Krumov
The "Europe: Countries and Flags" card set contains 50 cards, with an image with a map of a European country and its flag on one side and curious text on the other. A separate large map of the continent features mini images of the maps with the names for easier orientation, as well as a map of Europe. The material will inspire the child's curiosity and will captivate it with interesting facts and many options for working with the cards. The countries in Europe will no longer be something distant and abstract. The big map with names turns working with the material into a fun research game that develops skills such as observation and visual memory. The cards are suitable for young children to develop speaking skills and build vocabulary because they encourage dialogue between the child and the adult and to ask questions.

Life Cycles
Original card set
by Simona Krumova, Krum Krumov
Circles in nature – explained in such a way that even the youngest can understand and remember them. Did you know that… Through the phenomena in nature, the change of seasons, the life cycle of a person, plant, etc. in a very young child creates a conditional, very original idea of time, order and sequence, which is extremely important for the mind of a child. Through this knowledge of the world, rhythm, cyclicity, it learns to observe, explore, expect. That is why the Life Cycles cards are designed so that even a 2-year-old child can arrange and understand the water cycle, or the cycle of human life. The cards represent 6 cycles – of water, man, plant, bird, frog and butterfly. Each cycle is presented as a separate stage and you can start working from each of the stages, as the texts do not have a first and a last. We recommend life cycle cards for children from 2 to 12 years.
