Adults and children of the planet would be interested in such warm books from the Pole of Cold with funny facts about life in Yakutia, traditions, history, amazing people and their incredible adventures in the coldest place of the World. Every year, we publish more than 300 titles of various children’s, fiction, study and guidance, reference books, as well as digital and multimedia publications. Over the past 5 years, we won more than 20 international and Russian prizes wherein 14 are for children's book.

The NUS Press Story NUS Press publishes academic books and journals, as well as general non-fiction. Our home market is Singapore and Southeast Asia, but our books are distributed internationally. The National University of Singapore Press is heir to a tradition of academic publishing in Singapore that dates back some 60 years, starting with the work of the Publishing Committee of the University of Malaya, beginning in 1954. Singapore University Press was created in 1971 as the publishing division of the University of Singapore. The University of Singapore merged with Nanyang University in 1980 to become the National University of Singapore, and in 2006 Singapore University Press was succeeded by NUS Press, bringing the name of the press in line with the name of the university. Our publishing mission is to enable the dissemination and creation of knowledge through the publishing of scholarly and academic books; and to empower learning, innovation and enterprise for the Singapore- and Asia-focused global community. All NUS Press books must be approved by a Publishing Committee, drawn from the ranks of the academic staff at the National University of Singapore. NUS Press is currently managed by Peter Schoppert. Pinter & Martin is an independent publishing company based in London. Most of our books are distributed worldwide. We publish authors who challenge the status quo. We specialise in pregnancy, birth & parenting, health & nutrition, psychology and yoga. Pinter & Martin was founded on May 9th, 1997 by the writer and film-maker Martin Wagner and childbirth educator Maria Pinter, when we realised that Stanley Milgram's extraordinary book Obedience to Authority was out of print in the UK. Some milestones were the publication of Childbirth without Fear in 2004, which started our ever-growing pregnancy, birth & parenting list; Irrationality in 2007, which was our first genuine bestseller; and the publication of The Politics of Breastfeeding in 2009, followed by our first book for La Leche League International, The Womanly Art of Breastfeeding in 2010. Jill Marshall is the author of the popular middle-grade series about Sensational Spylet, Jane Blonde, and many other titles and series for tweens, teens, YA and adult. Jill’s books have been published by Macmillan Children’s Books, Penguin and Hachette, in 22 countries, 11 languages and paperback, ebook and audio formats. Jane Blonde has been optioned for film and TV, with significant film interest in other Jill Marshall titles. Jill has also been an editor and manuscript assessor for trade publishers and societies, a creative writing teacher for over 1000 clients, and works in corporate communications. During lockdown in 2020, and with all rights for all titles successfully re-acquired, Marshall fulfilled two long-term ambitions.
