We embrace Humanistic Buddhism, and promote Buddhist writing which is accessible, community-oriented, and relevant to daily life. Founded in 1996 by Venerable Master Hsing Yun as the Fo Guang Shan International Translation Center, Buddha’s Light Publishing seeks to continue Master Hsing Yun’s goal of promoting the Buddha’s teachings by fostering writing, art, and culture.
