Holland Park Press is a privately-owned independent company publishing and selling literary fiction: novels, novellas, short stories; and poetry. It was founded in 2009. It is run by brother and sister, Arnold and Bernadette Jansen op de Haar, who publish an author not just a book. Holland Park Press specialises in finding new literary talent by accepting unsolicited manuscripts from authors all year round and by running competitions. It has been successful in giving older authors a chance to make their debut and in raising the profile of Dutch authors in translation.

Founded under lockdown in 2020, Sharp Rights publishing consultancy handles rights for independent publishers, agencies and authors, including The bks Agency, HopeRoad Publishing, Fledgling Press, FROM YOU TO ME, Little Island and Fine Feather Press. Founder Andrew Sharp is the former group rights director at Hachette Children's Group in London. He was The Bookseller Rights Professional of the Year in 2019. Our main focus is selling translation and English language rights for children's books. We also handle general trade titles. We are seeking publisher clients who require representation. We are interested to hear from publishers of adult fiction and non-fiction, children's non-fiction and picture books. We are particularly keen to hear from publishers whose lists focus on under-represented communities.

Sharjah Documentation and Archives Authority
Sharjah Documentation and Archives Authority, earlier Sharjah Centre for Documentation and Research, was established by resolution no. (4) of 2010, issued by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan Bin Muhammad AL Qassimi, member of the Supreme Council, the Ruler of Sharjah. In 2016, H.H. Ruler of Sharjah issued resolution no. (4) of 2016, on the establishment of Sharjah Documentation and Archives Authority. The objectives were set to collecting and preserving documents related to the emirate, as well as the development of the documentation and archive system. Furthermore, the Authority shall oversee the management of current documents and mediate documents with concerned parties. The Authority represents the local body concerned with all matters of documents and archiving and it abides by the best international standards for preserving and maintaining documents. The Authority works to strengthen cultural and historical awareness and encourage scientific researches and intellectual creativity.

Our picture book "You Are Not My Mother", about a young girl who had lost her mother and trying to adapt to the new lady in the family, was translated into Korean and sold in Korea. "How to be a Big Good Wolf" is our latest picture book based on a series of illustrations that had won the illustrator "The ASEAN Children's Book Illustrator Award of Excellence". Through one of our projects, Storymakers League, we have a talented group of young Asian authors ages 18 and below (from 9 countries) who have written stories for us to publish. The anthologies and novels written by them are perfect for school libraries around the world. We are constantly on the look out for more young authors around the globe, nurture them and have them write for their peers wherever they are. We are also looking for distributors worldwide to get these books into libraries at schools to inspire more kids to appreciate the written word and encourage them to start writing stories too.
