Das Verlegerehepaar Martina und Thorsten Meier gründete 2007 Papierfresserchens MTM-Verlag, einen Kinder- und Jugendbuchverlag. 2014 erfolgte die Gründung des Herzsprung-Verlags, der sich auf die Herausgabe von Belletristik, Lyrik und Sachbüchern im Erwachsenenbereich spezialisiert hat. Beide Verlagen arbeiten Hand in Hand.

Plastik sparen Die Geschichte einer Idee Die Idee für Plastik sparen ist im Juni 2018 entstanden. Wie schon so oft endete ein Wocheneinkauf im totalen Plastik-Inferno. Kennt ihr das? Einmal einkaufen beim Supermarkt um die Ecke und schon ist eine Mülltüte voll mit Plastik. Aber wie kann ich das ändern, fragte ich mich. Also informierte ich mich, war bei einem Vortrag zum Thema "plastikfrei leben" um dann mit dem Gefühl zurück zu bleiben, das nicht leisten zu können. Aber einfach weiter Plastik konsumieren war für mich auch keine Alternative. Es musste doch Möglichkeiten geben Plastik zu reduzieren, die Jedermann*frau ganz einfach in den Alltag einbauen kann. Und so war "Plastik sparen" geboren. Die Idee dahinter, durch viele kleine Plastik-spar-Aktivitäten den Plastikmüll in meinem Haushalt zu reduzieren. Und, ich kann sagen es funktioniert. Bei jedem Einkauf landet wesentlich weniger Plastikverpackung im Einkaufswagen als früher. Alles Aktivitäten, die keine (oder nur wenig) Zeit gekostet haben, die oftmals Geld gespart haben und die ich problemlos in den Alltag integrieren konnte. "Plastik sparen" ist unser Beitrag für eine Umwelt mit weniger Plastik. Meine Ideen, Gedanken und Erlebnisse möchte ich teilen und viele Menschen dafür begeistern, immer weniger Plastik in ihr Leben zu lassen.

The Publishing House and its History Established in St. Petersburg in 1792, today Gerstenberg is one of Germany’s oldest publishing houses. A family business, the publishing house moved to new headquarters in Hildesheim in 1796 and to this day occupies the same address in the old city marketplace as it did then. The most important branch of the publishing business, however, was the Hildesheimer Allgemeine Zeitung, which, incidentally, is the oldest daily newspaper still in existence in Germany. Today, the name of Gerstenberg is synonymous with delightful, innovative books of aesthetic design and high-quality content for children and young adults that compete very successfully also on the international market. An adult range comprising illustrated books, non-fiction and cookery books also forms part of the Gerstenberg portfolio. Program Gerstenberg publishes board picture books, picture books, children’s and young adult narrative literature and non-fiction. With Eric Carle’s »The Very Hungry Caterpillar« (»Die kleine Raupe Nimmersatt«) and Rotraut Susanne Berner’s ›discovery picture books‹ (›Wimmelbücher‹), Gerstenberg became one of the best-known children’s book publishers. In meinem Buch "Jeder kann in einer erfüllten Partnerschaft leben. #einePortionLiebe" unterstütze ich meine Leser dabei, die Ursache Ihrer Themen zu identifizieren und diese loszulassen, so dass sie ihre Herzensstimme wieder hören. Es wird ein Entwicklungsprozess in Gang gesetzt. Mit jeden Schritt, den meine Leser hierbei wagen, finden sie zurück in die Wertschätzung ihres Lebens. Schritt für Schritt wachsen sie in die Erfüllung und Freude an ihrem Sein, so dass sie ihr wahres Potenzial, auf allen Lebensebenen wieder entdecken und ausleben. Alles im Leben beginnt mit einer Entscheidung. Meistens zeigen sich die Themen, an denen man wachsen darf, durch immer wiederkehrende Themen, die sich wie ein roter Faden durch sein Leben ziehen. Sie kreieren einem immer wieder die Situationen, von denen man in seinem Inneren überzeugt, ist wert zu sein, und einem die Bestätigung geben, dass man auch weiter so denkt. Denn man zieht immer das in sein Leben, was man aussendet. Nicht mehr und nicht weniger. Man kann beruflich alles haben und doch innerlich unzufrieden und nicht erfüllt sein, wenn man in sich selber nicht zugesteht, dass man auch Freude an seinem Erfolg haben darf. Die gute Nachricht ist, dass man zu jeder Zeit aus dieser Spirale heraustreten kann, um sich das Leben zu kreieren, dass einem Erfüllung und Freude in allen Lebensbereichen schenkt. Nur manchmal kommt man nicht alleine aus dieser Spirale heraus, und man fühlt sich wie ausgebremst. Denn durch mein Buch begleite ich meine Leser über ihre Grenze hinaus zum Kern der Ursache, so dass sie sich von ihrer Blockade befreien. Sie beginnen die Lebensfreude zurück in ihr Leben hinein zu lassen und die Möglichkeiten erkennen, um ein erfülltes Leben aus ihrem Herzen heraus zu führen. Every story describes a wish that Tyler makes, the steps he takes to obtain it, and the reason why he gladly grants it to a dear one. In "Tyler's Promised Gift" Tyler works hard to obey his mother's commands in anticipation of receiving his promised 'little red car". At his birthday party he offers the car to a younger, sad, and crying guest. In "Tyler's Baby Sister" Tyler tries to get his mother to focus her attention again on him instead of on his baby sister, Tia. Tyler finally realizes that helping his mother to give more care to Tia gave him the most satisfaction. In "Tyler's Acting Practice" Tyler spends hours perfecting his aim when using a slingshot. When he was finally ready to play the part of David in the school play "David and Goliath", he noticed that his friend Joel, who was new to the school this year, was being bullied and excluded from all games because he was missing the net whenever he tried to shoot a basketball. Heroically, Tyler offers the role of David to Joel when he learns that Joel excels at aiming pebbles with his slingshot. His plan to reverse the students' disrespect towards Joel succeeded when everyone in the school auditorium cheered Joel for his perfect aim at the helmet of Goliath. In "Tyler's Lunchbox Treat", Tyler could hardly wait for lunch break to bite into the krispy marshmallow treat his mother had baked for him. When Tyler discovers that the sandwich of his lunch companion was missing, and that he couldn't share his peanut butter sandwich with him because his companion was allergic to peanuts, Tyler gives him his krispy marshmallow square. Tyler always feels like a winner at the end, and not at all a loser. Children and parents are happy to arrive at the ending of each story.
