Strange Days Books, Social Cooperative Enterprise
Strange Days Books is a social cooperative publishing firm based in Crete, Greece. Since 2012 we have published almost 100 books. Every year we organize Sand Festival, an online Writers’ Workshop and - in cooperation with www.eyelands.gr literary magazine - the one and only international short story competition based in Greece, plus our International Book Awards. In 2019 SDB was the only publishing house in Greece to receive approval by the European Union’s Creative Europe translation funding program for its project "Strange Days in Europe”. Strange Days Books is an entirely independent publisher, primarily interested in showcasing the wealth of new writing voices in Greece. We work closely with our authors to create books that will appeal to booklovers, books about the present, books that strive to push the art of literature forward, books written with talent and passion, books that challenge the way we see the world, books bursting with new ideas and intriguing perspectives.

ALTAIR 4 Multimedia was established in 1986 byAlessandro Furlan, Pietro Galifi and Stefano Moretti, who conceived the studio as an actual workshop where various technological and artistic disciplines would interact in a coordinated and rewarding dialogue.The members of the Altair4 creative team come from diverse backgrounds and experience in computer animation, graphic arts, design and broadcast production.The ongoing dialogue between past and present characterizes all Altair4 productions and its innovative and multi-faceted approach to creating computer products where advanced technological tools and artistic and cultural processes are joined.

Since 2007, the BDV is publishing the art magazine seen, a completely new and compact format to present new, emerging and interesting artists. Der Bruno Dorn Verlag zeichnet sich seit 1996 durch Künstlerbücher und Kataloge von höchster Qualität und Kreativität aus. In Zusammenarbeit mit Künstler*innen und oft in Kooperation mit Museen oder anderen Kunstinstitutionen entstehen im BDV Bücher, die den Zeitgeist einfangen und zum Verweilen einladen. At Malinc Publishing House we have been publishing quality children's literature since 2012 and have strived for bigger literary diversity throughout. We are concentrated on publishing authors from the Spanish speaking countries and minority literatures' representatives connected with the Spanish culture such as Basque, Catalan and Galician writers. Books of less known literatures from Europe and elsewhere have also been published by Malinc Publishing House. Through the reading promotion projects we put academic knowledge into practice. Besides, we carry out courses for the mentors of reading and organize literary readings and visits of foreign authors. It is in this way that we raise general reading literacy, intercultural and linguistic competences and include vulnerable groups, especially people with dyslexia.
