Futerman, Rose & Associates
FRA is a leading literary agency, established in 1984 and affiliated to the Authors' Agents Association and the Personal Managers Association. We represent a most loyal list of writers and are particularly adept at selecting publishers by auction, achieving royalty advances of upper five, or even six figures. We are well known too, for selling film/TV rights to our authors' works, in some cases even before we have sold book rights.
Guy Rose, agency principal, studied English with the late, great novelist Tom Sharpe and part-wrote his obituary in The Times.
FRA's reputation for fiction—humorous or straight—is steadily growing. Our non-fiction writers over the years have numbered senior politicians from all the mainstream parties including a leader of HM Opposition, and former secret agents including the most famous/notorious double agent of them all. We represent senior High Court judges, QCs, barristers, and an erstwhile Public Enemy No 1 (now happily reformed and working with the police) and major celebrities of stage and screen.
As well as TV dramatists and screenwriters, we represent London, Hollywood and Canadian film producers including a former Warner Bros. president.
