        Welcome to Kynos, Germany’s dog book specialists. We have been publishing books on dog training, dog behaviour, dog breeds, handling, sports, nutrition, health and other aspects of dog handling since 1980.  Our aim is to provide reliable, up-to-date and useful information to both dog owners and dog professionals. We carefully select our authors for their expertise and the use of dog-friendly methods only that are based on scientific knowledge on learning behaviour.  Our backlist counts approx. 250 titles and is expanding constantly with 10-12 new books each year. With its revenues from the book sales, we support the charity Kynos Stiftung Hunde helfen Menschen dedicated to the training of assistance dogs.

        ... wealth is not materialism - not in universe (only 5% is about matter) and not on earth (it´s all about education: i.a. as a buddhists, you are happy, if YOU are happy - and not comparing - and NOT buying things you don´t need, with money you don´t have, to impress people you don´t like ... ). I invented the formulas of TIME (as such), SPACE (as such) and DYNAMIC  RELATIVITY ( as such ... relativizing Albert Einstein - and explaining the 95% of astronomy not known up to now:  23% "dark matter" and 72" "dark energy"). Wealth is not materialistic. At least not in universe, expanding since 13.8 billion years, with faaar less problems, than those of the so called "homo-sapiens"...  . "Space" in the 4th ("energetic-") dimension (not in the "low-level" 3-D-version of combating for territories or market-shares), space, is the top of the top targets of universe - and all this is transferable to mankind ... in order to achieve  world-wide-wealth !!!

        H. L. A. Hart (1907–1992) war Professor für Allgemeine Rechtslehre in Oxford. Jacob Taubes (1923-1987) war zuletzt Professor für Judaistik und Hermeneutik an der Freien Universität Berlin sowie ständiger Gastdozent an der Maison des Sciences de l'Homme in Paris. Jürgen Habermas wurde am 18. Juni 1929 in Düsseldorf geboren. Von 1949 bis 1954 studierte er in Göttingen, Zürich und Bonn die Fächer Philosophie, Geschichte, Psychologie, Deutsche Literatur und Ökonomie. Er lehrte unter anderem an den Universitäten Heidelberg und Frankfurt am Main sowie der University of California in Berkeley und war Direktor des Max-Planck-Instituts zur Erforschung der Lebensbedingungen der wissenschaftlich-technischen Welt in Starnberg. Jürgen Habermas erhielt zahlreiche Ehrendoktorwürden und Preise, darunter den Friedenspreis des Deutschen Buchhandels (2001) und den Kyoto-Preis (2004). Geboren am 5. Januar 1927 in Marburg, studierte Dieter Henrich von 1946 bis 1950 in Marburg, Frankfurt und Heidelberg  (u.a. bei Hans-Georg Gadamer) Philosophie. 1950 Dissertation: Die Grundlagen der Wissenschaftslehre Max Webers. Nach der Habilitation 1955/56 Lehrtätigkeiten als ordentlicher Professor in Berlin (ab 1960) und Heidelberg (ab 1965),  Gastprofessuren  in den USA ( Harvard, Columbia, University of Michigan, Yale);  1981  Berufung an die Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in München, Ordinarius für Philosophie bis zur Emeritierung 1994. Seit 1997 Honorarprofessor an der Berliner Humboldt-Universität.

        Postmodern, postcolonial and post-truth are broadly used terms. But where do they come from? When and why did the habit of interpreting the world in post-terms emerge? And who exactly were the 'post boys' responsible for this? Post-everything examines why post-Christian, post-industrial and post-bourgeois were terms that resonated, not only among academics, but also in the popular press. It delves into the historical roots of postmodern and poststructuralist, while also subjecting more recent post-constructions (posthumanist, postfeminist) to critical scrutiny.         Despite the intense processes of deindustrialisation around the world, the working class continues to play an important role in post-industrial societies. However, working-class people are often stigmatised, morally judged and depicted negatively in dominant discourses. This book challenges stereotypical representations of workers, building on research into the everyday worlds of working-class and ordinary people in Russia's post-industrial cities. The urban life of workers in post-Soviet Russia is centred on the stories of local communities engaged in the everyday struggles that occur in deindustrialising settings under neoliberal neo-authoritarianism. The book suggests a novel approach to everyday life in post-industrial cities. Drawing on an ethnographic study with elements of arts-based research, the book presents a new genre of writing about workers influenced by the avant-garde documentary tradition and working-class literature.

        Charles Dickens called his sister-in-law Georgina Hogarth his 'best and truest friend'. Georgina saw Dickens as much more than a friend. They lived together for twenty-eight years, during which time their relationship constantly changed. The sister of his wife Catherine, the sharp and witty Georgina moved into the Dickens home aged fifteen. What began as a father-daughter relationship blossomed into a genuine rapport, but their easy relations were fractured when Dickens had a mid-life crisis and determined to rid himself of Catherine. Georgina's refusal to leave Dickens and his desire for her to remain in his household led to rumours of an affair and even illegitimate children. He left her the equivalent of almost £1 million and all his personal papers in his will. Georgina's commitment to Dickens was unwavering but it is far from clear what he did to deserve such loyalty. There were several occasions when he misused her in order to protect his public reputation. Why did Georgina betray her once much-loved sister? Why did she fall out with her family and risk her reputation in order to stay with Dickens? And why did the Dickenses' daughter Katey say it was 'the greatest mistake ever' to invite a sister-in-law to live with a family?
