In 1958, the then Game Department in the state of Perak were responsible for protecting wildlife and answering calls for assistance to protect crops, property and lives threatened by these animals. It was a time of plenty, with forest cover of more than 75 percent. Unfortunately, those forests were rapidly being cleared, causing wildlife species to become homeless. Moreover, solving problems often resulted in the killings of these animals. Hunting licenses were introduced, accounting for large numbers of sambar and barking deer being killed. This slaughter continued for decades, leading to a decline in the numbers of several large animal species. Due to rampant hunting, poaching, and the loss of about 30 percent of the forest species that were once common are now in dire need of saving from further decline. The need to step up conservation efforts has reached an alarming level, requiring prompt action to ensure population recovery.

Und: »Es gibt noch ungeträumte Möglichkeiten.« Im letzten Bild stürmt der Postbote mit den Dorfleuten das Haus, doch Sie und Er mitsamt dem toten Bruder haben es verlassen: »Die Lösung des Rätsels des Lebens in Raum und Zeit« - so Wittgenstein - »liegt außerhalb von Raum und Zeit.« Die Figuren von Nur Wir nutzen die »noch ungeträumten Möglichkeiten«, steigen aus Raum und Zeit aus.In der Zeit vom 27. Oktober 1989 schrieb der Theaterkritiker Benjamin Henrichs über die gegenwärtige Theaterlandschaft: »...kein Weg führt weiter. man müßte umkehren, noch einmal von vorne beginnen und suchen, was man irgendwann unterwegs verloren hat: die Naivität. Das Theater ist eine intellektuelle Kunst und eine kindliche, und gut ist es nur, wenn es beides ist.« Benjamin Henrichs schloß, die Stückeschreiber »müssen das neue Theater herbeischreiben«. This anthology of traditional and classical works is a collection of poetry and fiction, legal digests, epistles and religious treatises, narrated, sung or written in the Malay language, in the Malay Archipelago. This language was and is widespread in the Malay Peninsula, Singapore, Sabah, Sarawak, Brunei, in Kalimantan, (Indonesian Borneo), including Pontianak, Ketapang, Sintang, Banjarmasin, Kutai and Samarinda. It was the lingua franca for most of Insular Southeast Asia and even in parts of Continental Southeast Asia, and to be found in Southern Thailand, in the provinces of Satun, Patani and Nakorn Sithammarat, and some islands in Southern Philippines. This time-span of traditional Malay literature covers a period from the earliest beginnings of oral works, through the inscriptions on stone and metal, and through further developments in oral storytelling, the advent of writing. In the decades of the 18th and 19th centuries a collision with western colonial powers and their cultures has resulted in a literature that reflected this traumatic confrontation and also, the so-called ‘modern’ elements. Along with this too we notice the rise of the new genres of the report, the travelogue, the autobiography and biography, which interestingly are prominent antecedents of modern literature.

In diesem Bericht aus einem japanischen Nachtklub kann man es anders lesen. Muschg beschreibt eine Inszenierung, die ihn vollkommen befremdet hat. Sie erschien ihm nicht mehr von dieser Welt - bevor ihm der Verdacht kam, sie sei es nur zu sehr. Den Schritt, den eine Männergesellschaft hier hinter die bekannte Zivilisation zurückgeht, könnte sie ihr voraushaben. Nicht jede unerhörte Begebenheit hat das Zeug zur Novelle. Diese war ein Lust-Spiel, das den Autor das Fürchten lehrte.
