        Odelia editora is a Project founded by 8 women who come from different backgrounds but share a passionate goal: to discover new voices and give life to those books who have been forgotten. It is our wish to recover de act of reading as something to enjoy, that can reach new readers every day. We publish fiction. Currently we have two collections: “Living dead”, which gathers recovered works, literary treasures physically absent from the market. And “Avalanche”, which consists of contemporary literary fiction from national and international authors. It’s our goal to broaden our seal to other latitudes, which is why we look forward to be present at the main fairs worldwide.

        Der griechische Lyriker Pindar (522/18 – nach 446 v. Chr.) hat seine Gedichte zu verschiedenen festlichen Anlässen geschrieben, unter anderem zu den Olympischen Spielen oder zu den Pythischen Spielen, die zu Ehren Apollons gefeiert wurden. Die Achte Pythische Ode ist Pindars Alterswerk, und sie hat über die Jahrhunderte immer wieder zu Nachdichtungen in vielen Sprachen angeregt. Pablo Picasso hat Pindars Ode illustriert, auch diese Bilder ein Spätwerk. Kongenial zeigt er in ihnen den Kampf des Künstlers mit dem Alter, den Kampf gegen das Nachlassen der Kräfte und der Kreativität.Der Band enthält den Text Pindars im Original, in der französischen Fassung, die Picasso vorlag, und in einer modernen Nachdichtung sowie alle Bilder Picassos, die er zu diesem Gedicht angefertigt hat. Das Nachwort stellt die Rezeption des antiken Dichters in der Moderne dar und interpretiert die Bilder des großen Malers.

        Song of Heroes is an ode dedicated to heroes. It consists of seven movements, adorned with starting tune, overture, ending tune and after sound. It is in the form of symphonic poems, dedicated to an integration of being epic, lyrical, realistic and vanguard. With lofty beliefs, the poet started writing from Mao Anying's heroic deeds, using time, space, characters, and events as a narrative line to extol a large number of evocative heroes and heroic deeds moving forward in adversity. Not only did the author write about the hero representatives of various important periods, such as Zhao Yiman, Zhao Dengyu, and Xia Minghan, but also wrote about some hero groups, such as the five heroes of the Langya Mountain, the two bombs and one star hero group, and the space hero group. This majestic ode to heroes is tenacious and tragic. It expresses the immortal historical feats made by the heroes for the Chinese revolution, China's construction and the Chinese people. It helps children understand historical heroes by reading poetry, feels the heroic deeds and inspires them with national pride and cultural self-confidence.

        »Verschiedene Kritiker haben mir die Ehre angetan, das Gedicht als Kritik an der Gegenwart zu interpretieren, und haben sogar eine gehörige Portion Gesellschaftskritik hineingelesen. Für mich war es nur das Ventil für einen privaten und ganz belanglosen Grant gegen das Leben; es ist lediglich ein Stück rhythmischer Quengelei.« So wehrt ein Autor, ebenso verständlich wie unangemessen und vergebens, den Ruhm ab, mit dem er für eben dieses Gedicht, The Waste Land, überhäuft worden ist. The Waste Land (erschienen 1922) ist das Langgedicht des 20. Jahrhunderts, jedenfalls das mit der größten Wirkung in der westlichen Welt. Ein Blick in Norbert Hummelts schwungvoll rhythmische, „direkte“ Neuübertragung und das Original macht ohne weiteres verständlich, warum. Der puritanischen Traditionslinie der amerikanischen Literatur – über Emerson, Thoreau, Dickinson und Whitman – folgend, bezieht Eliots bewußt fragmentarisch gehaltenes Krisengedicht den Leser geradezu szenisch mit ein. Es läßt ihn mitarbeiten, innehalten, überlegen: Selbsterforschung - des Lesers mehr als des Sprechenden - ist gefragt. Auch dies hat Das öde Land über all die Jahre hinweg lebendig gehalten.

The novel intertwines Crimean Tatar culture, Ukrainian history and family skeletons in closets like an ornament. Together with the main character and her friends, Aliye who is a Crimean Tatar, and Alyona who is a Ukrainian, the reader travels a long way from their childhood to the present — the occupation of the peninsula by Russia. «There is a land beyond Perekop» is an ode to Crimea. Not to its natural beauty and uniqueness, but to people. This is an attempt to open the mainland for Crimea, and Crimea for the mainland. After all, there is land both there and there. It should be known and stitched.
