        Siegfried

        Siegfried is a rather large Ginger cat who lived in Marie's garden.This delightful story told from Siegfried's point of view is the first of three stories. A favourite with New Zealand children , Siegfried featured in an episode of Maggie Barry's Garden Show -also a favourite with New Zealand viewers. Siegfried has an idyllic life resting and eating in the real idyllic garden in the small town of Graldine in the South Island of New Zealand. Mice , of course, can be somewhat diverting and sometimes that terrible stray cat " The Loner' has to be chased away but Siegfried alsways manages to restore order.
