Spirit Mates - The New Time Relationship

      by Anni Sennov, Carsten Sennov

Most people have heard of the terms ‘soul mate’ and ‘twin soul’. What most people may not yet know is that the concept of soul mate refers to a consciousness realm that is about to completely disappear from the Earth in order to be replaced by the purer and more powerful spirit energy. This is creating great changes in consciousness on Earth and it also means that we humans finally have the opportunity to join together with our spirit mate. In this book the co-authors and spirit mate couple Anni and Carsten Sennov describe with love and insight the different paths and circumstances that can lead you to your spirit mate.

101 Myths About Relationships That Drive Us Crazy

How to Stop Them from Sabotaging Your Happiness

      by Tim Ray

In this entertaining and thought-provoking book, Tim presents a revolutionary new way of looking at our relationships and why they can be so problematic and then he goes on to offer some refreshing, new advice as to what we can do about it. The book's basic premise is that most of us believe in a wide range of myths about men and women, love and relationships that we have never questioned. It is our unquestioned belief in these myths that confuses us and makes us unhappy in our relationships. To help readers understand the power of myths in our lives, Tim identifies some of our most common relationship myths. And then he shows us how we can free ourselves from them. The result is much greater clarity, joy and love in our relationships. Some of the myths Tim unveils are:· - A relationship can only work if you compromise - I need a partner to be happy - My happiness is dependent on my partner - If you love me, you'll do what I want - I'm more selfish than my partner if I don't do what my partner wants - I know what is best for my partner - It's better to be in a relationship than to be single - Strong sexual attraction means we're a good match Every time you believe that reality should be different than it is right now, you suffer. It's actually that simple." - Tim Ray "When it comes to relationships, there are self-help books all around the world, but I've never read anyone who has done so much research into 'what happens to the hero and heroine after they finally get each other' as Tim Ray" - Jane Aamund - Denmark's leading woman writer and author of countless bestselling books. "An entertaining and courageous book that shows us how we can experience more happiness in our relationships by questioning the traditional way of doing things. I warmly recommend this book to everyone who's interested in personal development" Joan 0rting Denmark's leading sexologist, couples therapist, TV host, and best-selling author.

      You Like That, Don't You?

      by Kelvin Nel

A DELICIOUSLY DARK COMEDY Acclaimed Fifty-year old Broadway and Hollywood writer, Gavin De Jong, has returned to his old English coastal hometown resort of Southend-on-Sea, under a cloud of suspicion and scandal. De Jong’s life has everything one would expect from a man of his position: drama, travel, sex, laughter, media interest – even a touch of intrigue. But this was his life almost thirty years ago. Before he even became famous. During 1984, apart the minor issue of being associated with five deaths, young cinema projectionist, Gavin De Jong – a football mad, soul, funk and film buff – experiences an otherwise average year in Southend. Roll up; roll up for this seaside extravaganza! Laugh along with De Jong and his bunch of hilarious and eccentric friends, known as The First Team, as they create and perform in perhaps the worst band of all time, unaware that the consequences of their uniquely shambolic concert, will prove to be a deadly one. Gasp as De Jong earnestly juggles the mundane daily routine of his working life around two contrasting love affairs, while the shadows of a psychotic boss and a mysterious killer, stalk his every move. Marvel at how De Jong still manages to find the time, in the middle of all the bodies, to enjoy a roller coaster lifestyle of parties, drinking and nightclubs. And happily follow De Jong’s odyssey through 156 momentous days, until his devastating and tragic secret is revealed, in a heart-rending climax. A romantic and savagely funny satire on British youth culture and the pre-political correctness era of the 1980s, YOU LIKE THAT DON’T YOU? is often a harsh, lewd and challenging tale, full of symbolic imagery. THIS WAS NOT WHAT GEORGE ORWELL HAD FORESEEN FOR 1984

      The Price of Heartbreak

      Healing is mindfully feeling

      by Rick Sharpe

Failure is failure. I had failed… miserably! I suck at break-ups but who doesn’t? I was the guy next door who “had it all together!” But that’s not what goes on inside. My experience had shame written all over it, a significant departure from the person I thought I was. Failing emotionally started a journey filled with the very real pain of heartbreak and the smothering cloud of depression. I discovered what vulnerability really was and how my generation ran from it. Search your own heart and find those scars. They never really heal but they become a better part of us. To get through a day you sometimes need some assurance that you are not alone. For those who need to know there is another day worth living, you’re welcome to share this journey.

      A Latin American Perspective

      by Editor(s): Agnaldo Garcia

Love, Family and Friendship: A Latin American Perspective presents current research on different aspects of interpersonal relationships, including romantic and couple relations, family relationships and friendship, either conducted in Latin America or involving Latin American participants. The contributors to this volume are drawn from different universities in Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Puerto Rico and USA. The chapters are based on papers presented at the First Latin American Meeting on Family and Interpersonal Relationships, which took place in Vitória, Brazil, in July of 2013, organized by the Latin American Network for Interpersonal Relationship Research.Latin America has a population of approximately 600 million people, according to estimative data from the World Bank. Latin American migrant populations are also important in both North America and Europe. Despite this, studies on interpersonal relationships in the continent are still scarce compared to those produced in other areas. This book includes the results of empirical quantitative and qualitative studies about romantic and couple relationships conducted in Mexico, Brazil, Chile, and Puerto Rico, dealing with themes such as satisfaction, violence and intercultural relationships. Family issues are discussed in different contexts and countries, including family relationships in Mexico, Brazil and Colombia. Studies about friendship include results from investigations conducted in Mexico and Brazil. The book is particularly aimed at students and researchers in psychology and family studies, sociology, communication studies, Latin American studies, and anthropology, and represents an important contribution to the development of relationship research in Latin America and to the fostering of international cooperation on the subject.

      Breakthrough

The Power of the Interrupted Relationship

      by Tony Humphreys, Helen Ruddle

The high prevalence of couple conflict and marital breakdown causes considerable suffering to the individuals involved, and where there are offspring, to the children as well. The realisation that couple conflict is not about what happens between the partners but what is happening within each of them as individuals is the principal theme of this book. As long as people view couple conflict as being about the relationship between individuals, rather than within each person, breakdown is the inevitable outcome. This book demonstrates the potential for all breakdowns to become breakthroughs.
