      Die neue Datenschutz-Grundverordnung

      Mit Bundesdatenschutzgesetz 2018

by Flemming Moos, Jens Schefzig, Marian Arning

(King’s College London), Rechtsanwalt Cay Lennart Cornelius, Diplom-Jurist Eva Gardyan-Eisenlohr, Rechtsanwältin und Head of Data Privacy, Dr. Tina Gausling, LL.M. (Columbia University), Fachanwältin für IT-Recht Carmen Heinemann, Diplom-Informationsjuristin (FH) Per Meyerdierks, Senior Privacy Counsel und Syndikusrechtsanwalt Dr. Flemming Moos, Fachanwalt für IT-Recht Leif Rohwedder, Rechtsanwalt und Senior Legal Counsel Tobias Rothkegel, Rechtsanwalt Dr. Jens Schefzig, Rechtsanwalt Barbara Schmitz, Corporate Data Protection Officer und Syndikusanwältin Dr. Anna Zeiter, LL.M. (Stanford), Rechtsanwältin undChief Privacy Officer

The Rise & Fall of Freedom in America

      by Ray Hall

This book will show you how to get the government off your back and out of your life! Do you realize the government considers you their property? When you’re the property of others, that’s defined as SLAVERY! Do you realize the government PRESUMES it’s sovereign over you, and can tell you what you can and can’t do? Do you realize America is currently governed by forces that want to totally control you? This book is filled with REMEDIES! It will also teach you: The almost lost knowledge of the foundational principles our system was originally founded upon and how individuals can easily restore their true God given legal status as sovereigns over those pretending to be our government. It is filled with remedies that will get the government off your back and out of your life. However, you can’t be saved as long as you’re ignorant of the correct principles our system endowed us with, principles that are no longer taught because if they were, the conspirators could not get away with what they are doing.

      CDM 2015 Questions and Answers

      A practical approach

      by Pat Parry (Author)

CDM 2015: Questions and Answers is a practical handbook which provides best practice solutions to a comprehensive set of frequently asked questions about the CDM Regulations, explaining the 2015 updates clearly and logically in order to ensure that readers can implement them as quickly and as smoothly as possible. Although the CDM Regulations first came into effect in 1995, there is still widespread misunderstanding as to how project teams should perform in order to satisfy their legal obligations. Anyone using the new regulations will need to understand the impact that the revised regulations will have on existing and future onstruction projects, as well as on their role in the project. CDM 2015: Questions and Answers • uses an accessible and clear Q&A format for easy reference • offers a pragmatic, practical approach to compliance with the revised CDM Regulations • provides a tried and tested approach to understanding and implementing the new legislation • includes numerous case study boxes to show how theory works in practice • contains checklists and templates to aid the reader in their implementation of the latest revisions to the CDM Regulations. This new edition has been substantially updated and reformatted to include the latest revisions to the CDM Regulations 2015.

      The 8 Reasons for Divorce

Why Marriages Fail and How to Ensure That Yours Doesn’t

      by Thomas G. Papps

Thomas G. Papps is an attorney who argued cases before the United States Supreme Court (U.S. v. Jimmy Johnson) and argued cases that have become the law of the land (”failure of informed consent” from Grey v. Grunnagle). The toughest battles he fought in the courtroom, though, have been his divorce cases. In The 8 Reasons for Divorce, Mr. Papps will share with you his findings as to the true causes for divorce after analyzing almost 2,000 divorce cases in which he was an attorney. Within its pages you will discover… ▪ what marriage really is; ▪ how kissing can ruin—or save—a marriage; ▪ how effective marriage counsellors really are; ▪ the effect of clergy, friends, and family on your marriage; ▪ the significance of age differences; ▪ how children can affect a marriage; ▪ what it takes to have a successful marriage; ▪ the single most important thing you can do to ensure that your marriage will succeed. Finally, you will find two important tests that were developed based on the data from Mr. Papps’s cases: The Pre-Marriage Test (“Should you get married?”) and the Marriage Test (“Will your marriage last?”). These tests have been shown to be accurate in predicting the health of a relationship and the chances for it’s success—or divorce.

      Cofounding The Right Way

A practical guide to successful business partnerships

      by Jana Nevrlka

Jobs & Wozniak, Page & Brin, Ben & Jerry... any list of successful companies seems awash with cofounders who are a match made in business heaven. The benefits are obvious: by combining resources, knowledge, expertise and motivation, cofounders can often build something far more successful together compared to going solo. And yet... two-thirds of startups fail because of disagreements between founders. Why? Because cofounding isn’t as simple as drawing up an agreement and shaking hands on it. In fact, there are seven steps required to build cofounding teams that win and last. Cofounding The Right Way will take you through these steps, one simple step at a time, from finding the right cofounders all the way through to structuring your team, splitting the equity, making sure everyone stays motivated and documenting it in your cofounding agreement. Is a partnership even right for you in the first place? That’s Step No. 1! Get your cofounding team right, and you’ll be in the best possible position to handle any challenge that’s thrown in your direction. Get it wrong and not even the best business idea will be able to survive. Foreword by Mike Moyer, author of Slicing Pie.

      Perfect M&As

      The Art of Business Integration

      by Paul J. Siegenthaler

Fact: 50 to 80% of mergers and acquisitions fail. This book goes straight to the root causes of most of those failures, and hones in on the specific elements that senior and middle managers can use or develop to deliver an orderly business integration, a smoother experience for the individuals in the organisation, and the realisation of the benefits that the initiators of the merger had promised to deliver. What structure, resources, behaviour and interaction are key in shaping people’s minds, building acceptance of change, energizing teams, creating a sense of common purpose, blending two organisations into one and actually delivering the merger’s business case? This book will give you a tangible feel for the journey upon which you are about to embark, allowing you to check that the key elements discussed here are included in your integration plan and will be applied during its implementation.
