Author Biography

Marc Redfield is Professor of English and Chair of Comparative Literature at Brown University. His books include Theory at Yale: The Strange Case of Deconstruction in America (Fordham, 2016), The Rhetoric of Terror: Reflections on 9/11 and the War on Terror (Fordham, 2009), The Politics of Aesthetics: Nationalism, Gender, Romanticism (Stanford, 2003), and Phantom Formations: Aesthetic Ideology and the Bildungsroman (Cornell, 1996, winner, MLA first book prize).
