Author Biography

Christopher Breu is Professor of English at Illinois State University. He is author of Insistence of the Material: Literature in the Age of Biopolitics (Minnesota, 2014) and Hard-Boiled Masculinities (Minnesota, 2005). He is also the editor of the recent special section of the journal Symplokē on “Materialisms.”; Elizabeth Hatmaker was a poet, theorist, and teacher. She was Instructional Assistant Professor at Illinois State University. She was the author of two books of poetry, Infrastructures (Downstate Legacies, 2015) and Girl In Two Pieces (Blaze Vox, 2009).
