The Firefly
by Ameera H. Al-Naemi
Description
Ibraheem wants for nothing in his life. His own little corner of the world is safe and sound and filled with the love of his parents.
His only complaint is that they are constantly leaving him to travel the world to help others in need. He urges his mother to give up her charity work and stay with him.
It is only through the light of a firefly that Ibraheem learns that maybe, just maybe, small acts of charity can make a difference in the world.
