Sherlock Holmes can’t solve this case alone. It is up to the MacDougall twins to use their wits and skills to find the hidden airship and save the world.
Derrick Belanger's The Amazing Airship Adventure is a great introduction to Sherlock Holmes for kids. I bought this book specifically to share with the daughter of a friend who said she had never heard of Sherlock Holmes. Once she started reading The Amazing Airship Adventure, she couldn't put it down. When she finished, she asked me where she could get the next book in the series. This is the first one, so I hope Derrick and Brian Belanger write the second book as quickly as possible. As an adult, I found the quick read to be a lot of fun. The MacDougall Twins are 10 year old detectives who help solve cases with Sherlock Holmes. I thought the plot moved at a great pace, the characters were a lot of fun, and the dastardly villain was straight out of a classic Sherlock Holmes story. Even if you don't have kids, I recommend getting this book. It will make you feel like a kid again. - Review published on Amazon by Griffin Garcon
