Author Biography

Judith Newton is professor emerita in Women and Gender studies at U.C. Davis where she directed the Women and Gender Studies program and the Consortium for Women and Research. She has published five academic books on women writers, feminist criticism, women in history, and men's movements.

Her memoir, Tasting Home, appeared in 2013 with She Writes Press,  received a starred review in Publisher's Weekly, and has won ten independent press awards.
