Dolores Beltran, Ph.D., is a specialist in primary- and second-language literacy development, with particular expertise in English language development instruction. She has authored numerous publications in the field and has collaborated with teachers at the district and county levels on a number of English language learner curriculum-development projects. Dolores has served on the teacher-preparation faculty of the Charter College of Education at California State University, Los Angeles. Her current work focuses on English language development through science-content instruction and professional development for teachers of English language learners.
