In 2014 Photographer Tom Dingley set up his #Outcome project - to photograph LGBT people with the attributes of their everyday life - their work, or their interests; and holding a picture of themselves as a child. The message was, no matter how hard it is growing up, no matter who you were, you become who you become, and you are amazing.
Several well known people are included. Two years and several exhibitions later, this is the Outcome.
80 photographs with short biographical statements from the subjects. Royal format, High quality paper.
We have world wide English language and translation rights for print and ebooks. All except UK rights are available.
This book will sell as art and as recognition to the LGBT community, and to schools and colleges as education and diversity.
The book is being launched with an exhibition in London, followed by a year-long touring exhibition to colleges and arts centres, with interest being shown as far afield as Amsterdam, and several national institutions open to taking the exhibition. It is already being heavily promoted through LGBT radio and TV shows, and on line and print media.
Born and raised in Greenwich, London, Tom Dingley studied photography at college and then, at Greenwich university. As a photographic artist and commercial photographer Tom has held exhibitions in the past, but ‘Outcome’ is his largest project in portraiture to date, a project that will continue throughout the years the exhibition that accompanies the book is toured round the UK, and studio days are set up at each tour venueto add to the photographs, and perhaps, Outcome2. http://tomdingleyphotography.com/
