Author Biography
Luis Pescetti is a famous Argentinian author and actor. As a comedian has worked in radio, TV, and theaters in United States, Spain, Colombia, Chile, Brazil, Peru, Uruguay and Cuba. In Argentina and Mexico was in radio for 14 years, and in TV for 7 years. He has published more than 30 books: novels and stories for children and adults. His books are sold in all Latin American countries. He has sold more than 2.5 million copies of all his books. Has edited 13 records and 7 audiovisuals. Has received the following literary prizes: Editorial Art Award of the Mexican Chamber of the Publishing Industry of Mexico (CANIEM), 2010; White Ravens List, 1998, 2001 and 2005; “Casa de las Americas” Prize, Cuba, 1997; ALIJA (IBBY Argentina,) 1998 and 2010 and ALIJA to Poetry Book (IBBY Argentina), 2013.
