Author Biography
Dimitra Kolliakou was born in Athens in 1968. She taught linguistics at Newcastle University and at Université Paris-Diderot. She has been awarded the Academy of Athens Award, the Athens Prize for Literature by the literary magazine (de)kata and the Jim Wilson Prize for first-time author by the National Book Centre of Greece. She currently lives and works in Paris and her experience of being a foreigner permeates her writing.
