Fundamental critical debates on questions of the historiography of music have become remarkably popular in recent years. The texts collected from the present conference join in this theoretical and methodological self-reflection of musicology and address three thematic areas: the globality of the history of music, the narrativity of stories in the history of music, and the historicity of music.
