Author Biography
He was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 1984. He is a screenwriter graduated from the National School of Experimentation and Filmmaking. His first book, Aquá el tiempo es otra cosa, was awarded by the Fondo Nacional de las Artes de Argentina and was chosen as a finalist for the Premio Hispanoamericano de Cuento Gabriel García Márquez, organized in Colombia, by a jury made up of Hebe Uhart, Alberto Manguel, Carla Guelfenbein, Héctor Abad Faciolince and Javier Rodríguez Marcos. Downey has published short stories in anthologies and collaborated with the graphic media. El lugar donde mueren los pájaros is his second book.
