Description
Berlin 1929: The Great Depression casts its shadow, the Sklarek scandal shakes confidence in the Weimar Republic, the police cause a massacre on May 1. Inspector Gregor Lilienthal, supported by his wife Diana and brother Hendrik, wants to solve the murder of a drug dealer. In the process, the three become aware of a banker's son with a morbid penchant for suicides. Or does Hermann Göring, member of the NSDAP in the Reichstag and addicted to morphine, even have something to do with the matter? The investigation literally leads into the underworld of Berlin, not only to criminal organizations and prostitutes, but also to brewery cellars, dead subway tunnels and sewers.
